Welcome to Nell Gwynn House Freehold

The beautiful, Art Deco building Nell Gwynn House, situated at the heart of Chelsea, is named after the mistress of King Charles II. Built in 1937, architect G. Kay Green designed a W-shaped building in a nod to Cubism, while creating maximum space and light for the individual apartments. Nell Gwynn House is unique on Sloane Avenue, with its heritage, 24-hour porterage and its own driveway. The front facade is currently being refurbished to a design by Studio Gosling, featuring porphyry stone for the driveway, enhanced lighting and new disabled access.
